Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree that provides for the deprivation of citizenship “for participation in extremist activities.” In particular, the document refers to foreigners who have received Belarusian citizenship, informs press service of Lukashenka.

Decree # 302 was signed on Thursday, August 5.

“The procedure for submitting materials on the loss of Belarusian citizenship by naturalized persons for participating in extremist activities or causing grievous harm to the interests of Belarus and the procedure for terminating the consideration of applications for acquiring citizenship in cases stipulated by the said Law is additionally fixed,” the statement says.
