Electricity supplies to Ukraine will be resumed “taking into account technical capabilities.”

The Ministry of Energy of Belarus on Wednesday, November 17, announced the termination of electricity supplies to Ukraine from November 18.

“Electricity supplies to Ukraine will be terminated from November 18, in accordance with the established procedure for interaction within the framework of contractual relations,” the message says.

It is noted that “the possibility of further supply of electricity to Ukraine will be considered by the Belarusian side, taking into account the technical capabilities.”

Note today the first power unit of the BelNPP was turned off from the network after the automation has been triggered. Before that, the first power unit of the station was disconnected from the network by automatic protection on July 12. Work resumed only on October 4.-
