For its part, the Jordanian Artists Association announced that festivals are not allowed to sing on its lands in solidarity with the decision of the Syndicate of Musicians Hany Shaker, and the decision emphasized that their songs contradict with the values and morals and are not compatible with the general culture of society and known musical standards.
Among them are Hamu Becca, Basalah, Diesel, High Heels, Majdi Shata, Al-Rocket, Al-Asabah, Aboulila, Hennara, Al-Afarat, Amr Haha, Andrew Al-Hawi, Coriander, Goza, Ala Viviti, Hassan Shakush, Al-Zaeem, Matareh, Sawah and Omar Kamal.
The Egyptian Musicians Union headed by Hany Shaker announced in a statement that there is complete coordination with the General Union of Technical Syndicates headed by director Omar Abdel Aziz and the supervisory body for artistic works headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Galil to achieve these controls.
The Musicians Association appealed to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation to use the powers conferred upon it by law by not appearing any unauthorized “classified” “supervisory and union” on any of the Egyptian satellite channels and Nilesat channels, which has become a fertile field for a variety of songs and clips that did not get any A regulatory or syndicate permit or license which has created a large space that helps spoil public taste.
