Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, experts analyze the reasons for rare power outages may be shocking | Epidemic | Epoch Times

[The Epoch Times Newsletter on December 23, 2020](Interviews by The Epoch Times reporters Luo Ya and Zhang Dun) Following Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, and Shenzhenpower failureAfter that, Beijing and Shanghai also went out of power.Experts point out that China has not suffered a large-scale power outage in recent years.epidemicDuring the sudden power outage, it may be because the Chinese economy is really dying, cannot afford coal, or the CCP is conducting a mysterious test.

On December 21, many large cities in Guangdong Province, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan and parts of Zhuhai, power failureAbout an hour. Subsequently, China’s two largest cities, Beijing and Shanghai, also started power outages.

On the morning of December 22, power outages began for nearly 12 hours in many sections of Shanghai, including Tangjiawan Road, Xinhe Road, Xinhe Town and other sections.

From December 21st to 25th, some streets or communities in Beijing’s Fengtai District, Xicheng District, Dongcheng District, Changping District, etc. also suffered power outages. Lu Media reported some power outage notices in “Today’s Toutiao”, but the related report was deleted later.

CCP sanctions Australia for “800 suicide”

Qin Jin, chairman of the Front for a Democratic China and a PhD in sociology from the University of Sydney, Australia, told the Epoch Times reporter that the large-scale and large-scale power outages in China in the past few days, “I think there is a deeper economic crisis hidden in it.”

Dr. Qin said that China’s electricity should be said to rely mainly on the use of coal, which is thermal power generation. However, in the process of the CCP’s confrontation with the West, especially the coal embargo imposed on Australia now, this has caused China not to use enough coal, and the CCP government should have a big bottleneck on the power issue.

“It (the Chinese Communist Party) imposed trade sanctions on Australia. It actually killed 1,000 enemies and committed 800 suicides. It did so mainly to punish Australia. Now it can hurt the lives of Chinese people, and it also I would risk my death like this.”

The CCP may “cannot pay for coal”

Dr. Qin pointed out that in addition to punishing Australia, another reason is that China’s economy may have greater difficulties, and the CCP really cannot afford to buy coal again. Because throughout this year, China’s economic development continued to decline, and at the same time it was fighting a trade war with the United States.

The CCP claimed that the power outage was due to various reasons, but Qin Jin pointed out that the CCP government can never tell the truth. It can only cover up with lies to deceive its own people and deceive the international community.

“I feel that the CCP is now suffering hard, and the cost of its entire political rule is also expanding, and its confrontation with the West has caused further damage to its economy.” Qin Jin said that the current economic problems will bring about Social problems bring political problems again, and this kind of social crisis may break out any day.

Wang Juntao: There may be four major reasons for a large-scale blackout

Wang Juntao, chairman of the China Democracy Party National Committee, told the Epoch Times reporter that there may be four reasons for the sudden large-scale blackout in mainland China.

One is that there is a problem with energy supply. At present, due to China’s domestic economic downturn, there are still tensions with some countries. For example, Australia’s coal cannot be imported. This will be affected. This is one reason. In any case, this is a serious problem in China’s economic policy.

The second possibility is that China’s power grid has been destroyed on a large scale. The People’s Daily of the Communist Party of China reported on November 19, 2019 that China has not had a large-scale power outage in recent decades because “China’s power supply guarantee capacity has been significantly enhanced, and China’s power grid has achieved interconnection and mutual supply.” Yunyun.

Wang Juntao pointed out that if China’s power grid is destroyed on a large scale, there will be rush repairs, and mainland newspapers will report. But there is no report on this in the mainland, indicating that this reason can be ruled out.

The third reason is that there has been a huge increase in electricity demand, and the Chinese authorities have to implement a large-scale blackout.

But Wang Juntao pointed out that ChinaepidemicAfter the incident, China’s economy is still recovering and there should not be large-scale demand. He believes that the power outage in southeastern China does not rule out that the CCP is preparing for war and building military facilities, which consume huge amounts of electricity.

The fourth possibility is that the CCP has to conduct a new management test in response to the possibility of major emergencies, which is equivalent to this exercise.

Mainland Scholars: The CCP may engage in surveillance activities

Gu Guoping, a retired Shanghai teacher, told Radio Free Asia that after China joined the World Trade Organization, there has been no widespread power outage in Shanghai. He doesn’t quite believe in various official explanations. He speculated: “I guess they (the authorities) are engaged in testing activities, monitoring activities, or precautions under special circumstances. They may install a new system and take measures in emergency situations. It seems to be possible in wartime. Rehearse and prepare for what happens.”

Zhang Jianping, a human rights activist in Changzhou, Jiangsu, said that most people blamed the power outage in various places on China’s blocking of Australian thermal coal imports. However, he believes that after China joined the WTO, there has been no power outage in our region. Now there is a sudden power outage. Some people say it is because of the relationship with Australia, and they feel that it is not possible to make a simple judgment. It remains to be seen why the power was cut off suddenly.
