Beginning to receive applications for the next stage of New Green Savings, will offer 39 billion

Representatives of the Ministry of the Environment (MoE) and the State Environmental Fund (SEF) presented the form of this part in the summer. The fund accepts applications via the web https://novazelenausporam.cz/.

The program aims to support energy-efficient renovations and construction of houses, photovoltaics and other environmental projects. Newly, there will be subsidies not only for households, but also for apartment house owners. They can also be used to renovate permanently inhabited recreational facilities. Another novelty is the inclusion of the Dešťovka subsidy program, which supports rainwater management. People who combine several different measures in the application, such as insulation and boiler replacement, will also receive a bonus.

The portfolio of contributions in the NZÚ will also be expanded by a subsidy for water heating using a heat pump, for the construction of a charging station for electric cars or the planting of trees near apartment buildings. Support for the insulation of older houses, the construction of family houses and the replacement of heat sources has also increased. The director of the SEF Petr Valdman has previously stated that the contribution can cover up to half of the entry costs.

Through NZÚ, people with current and higher incomes can also apply for a subsidy for the replacement of boilers, they will receive a maximum of 50 percent of eligible expenses.

Ten percent in the program will automatically benefit applicants from structurally disadvantaged regions – the Karlovy Vary, Ústí nad Labem and Moravian-Silesian regions.

In the new phase, 11 billion will come from the National Recovery Plan, which uses European money. The Ministry of the Environment also counts on the use of funds from the sale of emission allowances or the Modernization Fund.

The New Green Savings Program in 2014 followed on from the previous Green Savings Program. Over the past seven years, more than 85,000 applications have been received and more than 11 billion crowns have been paid out.
