The continuation of the NBA season at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando is scheduled for July 31, but before that, the teams will still have the opportunity to play several test matches.

The Mavericks, represented by Porziņģis, will meet the Lakers on July 23, and a duel with the Indiana Pacers is expected three days later. The final test game is scheduled for July 28, meeting with the Philadelphia “76ers”.

Meanwhile, Rodion Kuruch and Brooklyn’s Nets will compete with the New Orleans Pelicans on July 22, three days later will have to fight the Spurs of San Antonio, and a match against the Utah Jazz is expected on July 27.

Washington’s Wizards, which will not be assisted by Dāvis Bertāns in Orlando but still has Angie Pasčnik, will play their first test match against the Denver Nuggets on July 22. On July 25, the Wizards will meet with the Los Angeles Clippers, but on July 27, with the Lakers.

The agency LETA has already reported that in the second round of NBA coronavirus testing, Covid-19 was detected in nine of the 344 basketball players tested.

The second round of testing took place from June 24 to 29. Taking into account the results of the first round, in total 25 out of 351 basketball players tested positive for Covid-19.

The NBA also reports that ten of 884 team members have been infected with Covid-19.

The Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers have already closed their training centers.

The NBA season will resume on July 31 with 22 teams meeting at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

The closing of the season’s tournament in Orlando has caused concern for many, as more than 10,000 new cases were diagnosed in the state of Florida on Thursday, the highest number since the pandemic began.
