A few days separate us at the beginning of the second semester of different educational stages, after the end of the first semester leave.

As schools approach and classrooms become crowded, infection and bacteria may pass easily to children, due to their weakened immunity.

From this standpoint, Dr. Amir Suleiman, a pediatric and neonatal consultant, in his statement to Masrawy, provides important advice to immunize your child before the start of the study, in order to protect him from transmission.

Before going to school, a medical examination and tests must be performed to check on his health and whether he is ill or not.

Ensure proper feeding of the child, and you should eat a lot of proteins and carbohydrates, and fruits and vegetables that enhance immunity.

You must take your child the necessary vaccinations before returning to school.

Be sure to wash your hands frequently, and use soap and water to avoid infection.

Attention: when your child has anemia or iron deficiency, you should immediately consult a doctor, as it negatively affects immunity.

Encourage him to use sterile wipes on the mouth while sneezing or coughing, to avoid spreading infection and viruses.

– Make sure to trim his nails before returning to school, as the nails are among the places most exposed to germs and viruses and transfer them to the mouth and eyes.

Encouraging him to exercise before starting the study, as it enhances the health of the immune system and expels bacteria and germs from his body.

– Make sure to give your child the necessary vitamins that help boost immunity, such as “C” and “D”.

Vaccinate your child against influenza at the beginning of winter.

Eat warm fluids to improve body function and increase the ability of its immune system.
