This meeting marks the first campaign act of its support committee in Eure-et-Loir. It was founded by Jean-Pierre Gorges, an early Eurelian ally. This group plays the rally, following the example of its leader since her investiture by Les Républicains.

The mayor of Chartres shares the presidency with Olivier Marleix, LR deputy for Dreux, who supported Michel Barnier during the primary; Juliette Pichot, shopkeeper and president of the Showcases of Chartres, as well as with Julien Cottet, allergist, president of the order of doctors of Eure-et-Loir.
