JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The police concluded Metro TV video editor Yodi Prabowo was killed in a suicide.
The motive for suicide was called the police because the victim was suffering from depression.
Yodi was strongly suspected of depression after the police found the victim’s banking records.
The police found a financial transaction at RSCM Kencana. There, Yodi paid the test and consul fees several days before he died.
“The team found a record of financial transactions at RSCM Kencana. There, the person concerned conducted a test and consul at the RSCM,” said Director of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief Commissioner Big Commissioner Tubagus Ade in a press conference at Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Saturday (7/25/2020).
Yodi underwent tests and consuls at the Skin and Venetian Polyclinic RSCM Kendana.
The police strongly suspected the existence of health problems that made Yodi go to the hospital as a motive for suicide victims.
“This could be related,” Tubagus said.
However, Yodi never took the results of the medical tests that she lived at RSCM Kencana until finally reported missing and was found dead on the edge of the JORR Pesanggrahan toll road, South Jakarta on July 10, 2020.
Alleged suicide
Tubagus revealed the alleged suicide was also strengthened by various evidence found around the scene.
All have been examined and found no DNA or fingerprints other than Yodi’s.
The testimony of Yodi’s girlfriend, S, was also revealed by the police to confirm the allegation. Before he died, Yodi called repeatedly asking odd questions.
Yodi asked her boyfriend what if he had passed away.
“To S, the victim said many times saying that I did not exist … Our interpretation, if the victim died. This was repeated repeatedly to S,” said Tubagus.
Police also found CCTV footage at the Ace Hardware store. In the recording, Yodi is known to have bought a knife which was later found covered in blood under his body.
“Investigators concluded that it was strongly suspected of suicide. The fact that we gathered from the examination in the TKP, from the examination of witnesses, expert testimony, supporting evidence and other documents, then we concluded that it was strongly suspected that the person involved committed suicide,” Tubagus said.
