The name of Nur Afifah Balqis is in the spotlight until trending on social media after being dubbed a young corrupt.
Afifah, who is the general treasurer of the Balikpapan Democratic DPC, was involved in the alleged bribery case of the North Penajam Paser Regent, Abdul Gafur Mas’ud.
The woman, who was only 24 years old, was detained by the KPK. They secured Afifah with some evidence.
“KPK found that there was sufficient preliminary evidence so that the KPK stepped up to the investigation stage,” said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwatan, Tuesday (18/1).
“All parties who were secured along with evidence in the form of cash amounting to Rp. 1.4 billion and bank accounts with a balance of Rp. 447 million as well as a number of groceries,” he continued.
Case uncovered Nur Afifah Balqis this triggers the resentment of netizen. Many left scathing comments on social media about Afifah.
