Since retiring from acting and focusing her attention on her family and children, actress Hanan Turk has interacted through her accounts on social media, at very long periods.

After several months of absence on social media, Hanan reappeared yesterday, offering condolences to Alaa Mubarak, on the death of his father, former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, who passed away yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of 92, after a struggle with illness.
Hanan wrote on her Twitter account: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return, God have mercy on him and forgive him .. Oh God, He brought you down and you are best brought to him and became poor to your mercy and you are rich in his torment. With him the light is soft and companion until the gardens of bliss.
Hanan Turk announced her retirement from art in August 2012, through a telephone conversation with the journalist Nishan on the “I and the Honey” program, saying: “Thanks to God, I decided to retire from acting at the moment. This is the step that I had hoped for from God Almighty.”
Hanan returned to the cinema after the absence of a new and different experience through the movie “Al Nadaha”, the first audio drama to be shown in auditoriums in Egypt and the Arab world, and co-starred by Hani Adel and written and directed by Khaled Al Mahdi.
