Beavis & Butt-Head return to TV at Comedy Central after years | NOW

The duo Beavis & Butt-Head returns to TV after years of absence. Comedy Central announced on Wednesday that two new seasons of the American cartoon series will be broadcast.

The two unruly adolescents saw the light of day in 1993 MTV. Until 1997, more than two hundred episodes of the popular animated series appeared. In 2011, the program briefly returned to TV in the summer months.

As in the past, the new series Mike Judge will take care of the content, the production and the voices. “It feels like the time has come to be stupid again,” he said.

Reviving Beavis & Butt-Head fits in with Comedy Central’s strategy to target an older audience. “Beavis & Butt-Head were a defining voice of their generation,” the channel said. “We can’t wait to see how they hold up today.”

For the popular duo, in the 1990s it was not just the regular episodes on TV. They also got their own film, comic books, computer games and scored a big hit with Cher with the remake of the song. I Got You Babe.
