Beaches: A Coruña and Oleiros keep their blue flags | Radio Coruña

The province of A Coruña will look thirty eight this summer blue flags on its beaches and ports. It is the second province of Galicia in number of these distinctions after Pontevedra that leads the list. The Environmental and Consumer Education Association has awarded 107 flags in the Galician autonomous community, two less than last year. A Coruña maintains its number of sandy areas with a blue flag.

East, Oleiros, Arteixo and Boiro These are the municipalities of the Coruña province that have received the most blue flags this year. Specifically, the Herculean city has five distinctive beaches. They are Riazor, Orzán-Matadero, San Amaro, As Lapa and Oza.

A Coruña draws with Oleiros, which boasts five other blue flags, in Bastiagueiro, Mera, Espiñeiro, Santa Cristina and Naval. In Galicia, between sandy areas, ports, trails and nature classrooms, the ADEAC has awarded 163 awards in total. The Department of the Environment appreciates that Galcia maintains its position in this classification. The beaches where blue flags will be waved belong to 31 municipalities.
