HILVERSUM – During the RTL election debate it became clear that Caroline van der Plas is suffering from severe flu. According to the BBB party leader, she has the situation completely under control thanks to a diet of spare ribs and some beers.
BBB party leader Caroline van der Plas has a bad flu among the members. During the RTL debate it became painfully clear that she would have been better off lying in bed with a hot water bottle than sitting in a television studio during a political debate. At one point she coughed so hard and incessantly that her political opponents offered her a glass of water and asked if she was okay. While coughing and spluttering, Van der Plas said that nothing was wrong.
After the debate, the BBB party leader once again emphasized in the smoking area that there was nothing serious going on: “I have a flu among the members that unfortunately affects my respiratory tract. Not nice, but nothing to worry about. Moreover, I have been on a strict diet of spare ribs, beers and diet cigarettes for a while now. So in a few days I will be completely fit again.”
