The soccer players of FC Bayern Munich also won the seventh game of the season in the Bundesliga. Last year’s runner-up prevailed 3-0 (2-0) against the former series champion Turbine Potsdam.
Sydney Lohmann had already given Bayern the lead in the 12th minute, the other goals were scored by Lineth Beerensteyn (45th + 2) and again Lohmann (58th).
With 21 points, the Munich women are still at the top of the table, two points ahead of VfL Wolfsburg. After the first loss of points on the previous matchday (1: 1 at SC Freiburg), the reigning double winner and Champions League finalist clearly won 5: 2 (4: 0) against MSV Duisburg.
Werder Bremen achieved their second victory in a row in a 1-0 (0-0) against SC Sand, and TSG Hoffenheim also just won 1-0 (0-0) against SV Meppen. The match between cup finalists SGS Essen and Bayer Leverkusen ended goalless. On Friday evening SC Freiburg defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 (1-0).
