Berlin (dpa) – FC Bayern Munich takes its four-point cushion with them to the top of the Bundesliga on Tuesday in Dortmund.
The record champions won 5-2 (2-0) against Eintracht Frankfurt on the second ghost matchday at home. Previously, second-placed BVB had reduced the gap to one point in the meantime with a 2-0 win (1-0) at VfL Wolfsburg.
The penultimate Werder Bremen draws new hope in the relegation battle after the happy 1-0 (1-0) at SC Freiburg. Bottom of the table SC Paderborn missed a relief stroke against the recently weak TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The team of coach Steffen Baumgart had to be satisfied with a 1-1 (1-1). In the duel for a Champions League place, Bayer Leverkusen prevailed 3-1 (1-0) at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In Munich, Leon Goretzka (17th), Thomas Müller (41st) and Robert Lewandowski (46th) provided an apparently comfortable 3-0 lead before Martin Hinteregger (52th / 55th) brought the Frankfurt team back in with a double strike. Alphonso Davies (61.) and Hinteregger per own goal (74.) made everything clear for the sometimes shaky Bayern. Eintracht has to look down more and more.

Dennis Srbeny equalized for the hosts just five minutes later. The Hoffenheimers missed the jump to seventh place and thus closer to the European Cup places. SC Paderborn is now five points behind relegation place 16.
