Bayern Munich will be playing in empty stands until the end of the year

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Bavarian government has decided that fans will not be able to participate in sports events throughout the entire federal state by the end of the year. This decision also hits the Robert Lewandowski club.

By the end of 2021, Bayern will play three more matches at the Allianz Arena. On December 8, in the Champions League, Robert Lewandowski’s team will host Barcelona. Three days later, Julian Nagelsmann’s players will face FSV Mainz in the Bundesliga, and on December 17, also in a league match, they will face Wolfsburg.

All these meetings will have to take place without the participation of the public. Bayern announced this on its website and showed fans how to return tickets for these games.
