99 matches and 78 goals – this is the record of Robert Lewandowski in the Champions League so far. Only two players in history have scored more goals in this prestigious competition. These are the giants who have dominated the world of football in recent years: Cristiano Ronaldo (138 goals) and Leo Messi (123 goals).
“Lewy” recently entered their kingdom, feeling at home there. The Pole dreams of becoming this year’s winner of the Golden Ball, which in the last 13 years (with one exception) has been won exclusively by the Portuguese-Argentine duo.
For Lewandowski, winning this award would be a dream come true. The gala will take place on November 29, and this month will start for Lewandowski in a unique way – by playing the hundredth match in the Champions League.

The German, who recently was in isolation due to coronavirus infection, will most likely return to the coaching bench on Tuesday.
