MUNICH – German football legend Lothar Matthäus was seen enjoying the opening days of Oktoberfest with a friend nearly 38 years his junior, sparking conversation amongst fans and media alike. The 62-year-old former Bayern Munich captain and 1990 World Cup winner was photographed at the festival with 24-year-old Kristina Rahm, a model and entrepreneur.

Rahm, who runs a triumphant online fashion boutique, posted images of their time at the festival on her Instagram account, crediting FC Bayern Munich for the occasion. the caption accompanying the photos read, “The official visit to the Oktoberfest will only exist in early October, but FC Bayern seems to be hot for the Oktoberfest. For Jonathan Tah (right) it will be the first appearance as a bayern player at the Oktoberfest.” The post also acknowledged the presence of Bayern player Jonathan Tah.
