‘Bauska beer’ reorganization – DELFI

On July 1, changes were made to SIA “Bauskas alus”. The share capital of the brewer has been increased, the board has been expanded, as well as the company SIA “Rūta M” has been added through reorganization, informs “Lursoft” Client Portfolio Monitoring.

Since November 2019, the sole owner of “Bauskas alus” is SIA “Lāčplēša alus”. The changes registered on Wednesday show that the participant has increased its investment in the share capital of “Bauskas alus” from 786.9 thousand euros to 932 thousand euros.

Along with the changes registered on Wednesday, the board of the brewer has also been expanded – in the future, the members of the board Gatis Auziņš, Sorens Petersens (Soren Petersen) and Kims Sorensens (Kim Sune Sorensen). The last two have not previously held positions in other companies registered in Latvia.

The shares of “Bauskas alus” belong to “Lāčplēša alus”, the sole owner of which is SIA “Cido grupa”. The owner of the beverage manufacturer “Cido grupa” with a 99.99% share is the Danish “Royal Unibrew AS”.

In 2019, “Bauskas alus” paid 3.46 million euros in tax payments to the general state budget, which is 15.6% more than a year earlier. On average, the company paid 2.75 thousand euros in personal income tax per employee in 2019, which is 43.9% more than in the beer industry on average, while in mandatory state social insurance contributions – 5.26 thousand euros per employee (by 35, 6% more than the industry average).
