The swimmers had an appointment at Venelles this weekend for the traditional ones Autumn days organized by the Pays d’Aix Swimming, the first official meeting of the season which brought together in this interregional format the best South East athletes.

The former swimmer of Fun Beluga in Bastia, Manon Venturi, particularly distinguished herself by winning the three technical events on the program: solo, duet and team.
Faced with eleven pairs, Manon and her partner Angélique Bertinelli proved to be the best performers as a duo, as with her team from the Pôle Espoir d’Aix where, again, the performance won over the members of the jury with a 2e gold medal against six teams from the region.
The big question was the solo, where Manon did not expect such a result.
During her preparation already, a few days ago, she did not say ready to face girls much older and more experienced than her. However, it was without pressure and very relaxed that the Bastiaise approached her solo, brilliantly succeeding in the five elements that had been asked of her. Unanimous with the jury against her eleven opponents, she won handily this 3e category.
Very good omen before the national deadlines and France which will take place from December 2 to 5 in Montceau-les-Mines (Saône-et-Loire).
