Barcelona failed to win in debut match Sergi Barjuan as team coach. Los Cules held to a draw Deportivo Alaves 1-1.

Spanish League hold a duel Barcelona vs Alaves at Camp Nou, Sunday (31/10/2021) early morning WIB. This is Bajuan’s first match as the interim coach of the Blaugrana to replace Ronald Koeman who was fired by the club.

1-1! Alaves equalized three minutes later. Luis Rioja broke into Barcelona’s goal through his kick which Marc-Andre ter Stegen failed to anticipate. Joselu became the assist provider this time.

Barcelona almost scored a second goal in the 60th minute. Depay again stabbed the Alaves defense and kicked the ball on target which goalkeeper Antonio Sivera could dammed.

The home team pounded the Alaves back line in the remaining time, but no additional goals were created until the game was finished. Barcelona vs Alaves drew 1-1 and shared one point.

The addition of one point makes Barcelona currently collect 16 points and are in ninth position Spanish league standings. Meanwhile, Alaves did not move from the order of 16 with 10 points.
