Barcelona Faces ⁣Mallorca Without Key Players

Barcelona, Spain ⁣ – Barcelona will ⁤travel‍ to Mallorca ⁢on Saturday at 7:30 PM local time for their first league match of the ‍season without ⁤several key ‌players. Manager hansi Flick has announced the squad, and notably, no Polish players were included.

The ‍situation in Barcelona’s goal has been a topic of discussion, as Marc-Andre ter Stegen ⁢is currently⁣ unavailable due to back surgery. This absence has allowed⁤ for the registration of Joan Garcia, a product of Espanyol’s academy, who is expected to start in goal. It is unlikely that Flick ⁢will ⁤opt for Inaki Peña or Diego Kochena.

Wojciech⁤ Szczęsny is not yet registered with the ‍Spanish league, but ‌Barcelona has until ‌the end of the transfer⁣ window to resolve this issue. Robert Lewandowski‌ will ⁤also miss the match due to a muscle injury. Flick’s‌ offensive options⁢ include Lamine yamal, ⁤raphinha, Ferran Torres,‍ and Marcus Rashford, who was registered on⁢ Saturday morning.

Flick ⁣has also included several young players from La‌ Masia, Barcelona’s ⁤academy, in the squad. Guille Fernandez, Toni Fernandez, Dro, and⁣ Jofre Torrents could see playing time on the pitch.

Besides Szczęsny, Roony⁤ Bardghji, recently signed from Copenhagen, and Gerard Martin, previously with barcelona’s reserve team, are‌ also awaiting registration.
