Barcelona SC’s debt to public entities is monstrous | National Championship | sports

In Annex II (Age of liabilities) of the audit of the PKF firm in Barcelona, ​​with a cut-off until September 30, 2019, it is established that the club owes $ 15 712 561 to public entities, so that sector is the main creditor of the bullfighters. And to whom more money is owed by yellows is the Internal Revenue Service (SRI): $ 13 425 943, as indicated in Annex I.

It is explained that a procedure was fulfilled to “obtain the report of liabilities of public entities as of September 30, 2019” and “reconcile with accounting records and responses to letters of balance confirmations and public call for debts. And “that the corresponding interest and fines were calculated, which are not accounted for in the club’s financial statements.”

The SRI fines and calculated interest amount to $ 4,456,096, according to the PKF audit in Barcelona.

The Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS) is also on the list of creditors. As of September 30, 2019, the accounts with this public entity are broken down as follows: for current obligations $ 45,246, for amounts payable for personal contribution, employer contribution, reserve funds, unsecured and mortgage loans of August and September 2019.

And due to payment agreements, $ 862 881 must be canceled. On November 27, 2019, the club issued a balance confirmation letter addressed to the IESS, which has the stamp and receipt signature of December 4, 2019, but did not receive response to this document.

Meanwhile, the Municipality of Guayaquil confirmed that Barcelona owes it $ 863 943 (until September 2019), a balance that differs by $ 65,196 from the club’s accounting records. (D)
