The crisis continues in Barcelona. The club released a statement Monday evening announcing that it will file a complaint against former vice president Emili Rousaud. The latter was still considered the favorite of the Bartomeu clan for the presidential election of 2021 recently.
However, relations between the two men deteriorated and Rousaud had to leave his post. Since then, he has poured himself into the press, notably speaking of corruption in the Barçagate affair.

“FC Barcelona cannot tolerate these allegations which seriously damage the club’s image. Legal actions will be taken to defend the honor of the club and its employees, “said the club on its website.
