There is a hot share in Spanish football with Bryan Gil. FC Barcelona looks very closely at the versatile talent, as a scout from Blaugrana reveals.

There are quite a few young players in the professional squad of FC Barcelona this season who are drawing attention to themselves with top performances. There is Pedri, for example, or the currently injured Ansu Fati. A newcomer on a similar level is Bryan Gil, at least according to German Vaya, better known as “Mani”.
He is employed as a scout at Barça and is responsible for the Andalusian region in his role. “He is currently the best footballer in Spain and I compare him to Neymar”, Mani dares one of the greatest possible comparisons at CADENA SER. “His name is Bryan Gil. He’s got a lot from Neymar and he’s very versatile. He can play as a full-back, in the center or as a winger, that’s impressive.”
Gil is 20 years old and went through all youth levels at Sevilla FC. For the rest of the season, the Spanish U21 international (4 appearances) is parked at SD Eibar, for which he has 15 matches in LaLiga with three goals and one assist.

Mani reveals that he suggested Gil to Barça sports director Ramon Planes and that he had the ambitious young kicker on the list. The Catalan scout provides a few details of the contract: “At the moment he has a release clause of 35 million euros. But if he renews at Sevilla, it will be 150 million.”
In the financial distress in which the Blaugrana are currently (around 1.2 billion euros in debt), every transfer is a financial feat. The value after the extension would be absurd for the current situation, and Barça should not be able to find 35 million euros.
