Banks continue to provide services to the population, although they do so with some health security measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. They are important sources of infection due to the large number of people who come every day.
After several schedule changes, including a total closure when Social, Preventive and Mandatory Isolation (ASPO) was declared in Argentina, on March 20, the operation of the banks has stabilized and will continue to function in the same way as the week pass.
Hours of BBVA, Banco Nación, Macro …
During the week of Monday, June 22 to Sunday 28, the hours will be the same as in the past seven days. In the City of Buenos Aires, the offices and branches of the most important banks such as Macro, Santander, BBVA, Banco Ciudad or Banco Nación will remain open from 10:00 to 15:00. Access to branches, for the moment, is still not free: it is mandatory to ask for a turn.
In the rest of Argentina, for the time being, many provinces were attached to the schedule established in the City of Buenos Aires, although in some entities the schedule may vary in 15 or 30 minutes both in opening and closing hours, for which is recommended to the user to consult the official website of each bank to confirm.
Risk groups, such as the elderly, citizens with health problems or pregnant women, have preference when making transactions. In any case, the national identity document or some other equivalent must be shown to carry out the operation.
