The highly anticipated Oberbank AGM is over on the capital market. Here is my conclusion: All major special audit requests from Unicredit Bank Austria AG were rejected. In return, all applications by Oberbank AG were waved through. The new supervisory board members Hannes (Bogner) and Franz-Peter (Mitterbauer) were also appointed at the general meeting. But there was one important change: there was a majority vote for the conversion of preference shares into ordinary shares of Oberbank AG (there will be a special general meeting on June 9). The overall mood was very charged. The Supervisory Board of Oberbank AG is currently meeting.
Take a deep breath on the holiday. The next round in the fight of Unicredit Bank Austria AG against the 3-bank group will take place next week at the BKS-HV.
