Band of kidnappers dismantled in CDMX and Edomex

The Investigation police from Capital General Prosecutor’s Office (FGJ-CDMX) dismantled an alleged gang of kidnappers in simultaneous operations in the Mexico City and in the Mexico state.

In the operation, the authorities completed seven arrest warrants, two of them in collaboration with the Attorney General of the State of Mexico. The detainees are charged with participating in a kidnapping occurred in January 2019 in the colony Santa Martha Acatitla, in the mayor’s office Iztapalapa.

The investigation by the Prosecutor for the Investigation of the Crime of Kidnapping allowed to identify the seven possible kidnappers members of the criminal group, who were apprehended simultaneously in the mayors’ offices Iztapalapa and Alvaro Obregon from Mexico City; and in the municipalities of Ecatepec and Acolman, at Mexico state.

All detainees could be related to the criminal group called “The hearts”, Dismantled at the end of last July in the Mexico City and in the Mexico state.
