In the night from Monday to yesterday there were two thefts in Ballrechte-Dottingen in the St.-Arbogast-Straße / Mühlenstraße area.
On the one hand, as yet unknown perpetrators gained access to a residential property in St.-Arbogast-Straße through an unlocked cellar door. Several smartphones / tablets as well as wallets and a wristwatch were stolen there.
Second, a purse was stolen from a car parked in the courtyard of a property in Mühlenstrasse; the vehicle was opened forcibly.
Parts of the wallet’s contents were obviously thrown away by the perpetrators not far from the crime scene, in the end only the cash and EC cards were stolen.
Due to the geographical proximity, the suspicion that both cases are the same perpetrators is reasonable. So far there has been no concrete evidence of the perpetrators.
Witnesses and residents who can provide information about the perpetrator or who have seen suspicious persons on the night in question are asked to contact the Müllheim police station on 07631 / 1788-0.
