The «Sporting com Rumo» initiative, made up of several Leon supporters, delivered a document with a summary of the seven debates held in June and July to the chairman of the General Assembly, Rogério Alves.
In these seven days, “a set of themes considered fracturing and that have divided Sportinguistas in recent years” were addressed. Governance, statutory revision, financial sustainability, football and sports, institutional strategy and security, and brand and communication were the highlights on the table.
«We understand that we have fulfilled what we set out to do and with the delivery of the document, we consider the initiative closed. We say goodbye with the hope that we may have contributed to a stronger Sporting, and that these ideas are the seed of a future as Sporting Clube de Portugal, a Sporting with a path to success ”, reads the statement sent to essays.
