Yesterday Larian Studio announced the list of classes and races that will be available to players during the Baldur’s Gate III early access period, which begins on October 6th.
There will be only 6 classes: Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Warlock, Wizard. Given the experience in Divinity: Original Sin 2, we would venture to assume that the Pathfinder will be the most deadly class.
A little more races are expected – 8: Humans, Hythian, Elves, Drow, Half-elves, Dwarves, Halflings and Tieflings. Many races will have two subspecies – for example, elves will be divided into higher and forest ones. NPCs will react to your characters differently depending on their race.
After the release, they promise to expand the customization settings and add additional races. The class system, apparently, will not change.
