Lombardy
BERGAMO – Serious inconvenience in the Bergamo. Heavy rain and wind have lashed the area and in the municipality of Val Brembilla, where three families have been isolated since yesterday evening and a fourth was sent away from home for a landslide that looms over the buildings in Cadelfoglia. Provincial road 32 closed for a landslide instead. There is another landslide in Barca in Berbenno, where the mayor Claudio Salvi issued an eviction order for a dozen houses: 7 displaced people. A family of three is also isolated Imagna Valley: a landslide with a front of 30 meters invaded the roadway of the private road serving the house in Botta. Landslide also along the road leading to Novazza (Bergamo), in the Upper Seriana Valley, immediately closed to traffic. The electric current is absent and generators are active.
MILAN AND BRIANZA – The flooding alarm for Seveso in Milan and Brianza. Already in the night the councilor for Mobility of the Lombard capital, Marco Granelli, speaks of “having escaped danger”. Friuli
Rains, floods and fallen trees in Friuli Venezia Giulia. In the night of bad weather, the most affected area was that of Sacile in the Pordenone area where the Fire Brigade operated over 20 interventions including a personal rescue in Caneva. And even today, a critical day is forecast from the weather point of view.
Veneto
After a Sunday of meteorological ‘passion’, new yellow alert in Veneto. Yesterday high water in Venice (90 centimeters in Piazza San Marco), hail and storms in Verona and its province: firefighters in action for cellars, garages and flooded underpasses. Huge damage to crops. There are about 150 emergencies managed in the Treviso and Veronese areas in the last few hours: the Region has declared a state of crisis.
