Cannabis plants raised
–
With two joints and brass knuckles in his pocket, a man from Bad Eilsen went to a trial before the Bückeburg jury in which he himself was accused of growing five cannabis plants. Judicial officers took the marijuana and the gun from the 35-year-old at the entrance.
Bad Eilsen/Bueckeburg. “Pretty stuffy,” judge Dirk von Behren commented on the man’s bold appearance. “Something like this has never happened to me in more than 20 years as a defense attorney,” said attorney Volkmar Wissgott.
Almost a year after the search of the 35-year-old’s apartment, where the five plants were found, the lay judges have now imposed a nine-month suspended prison sentence on the accused. There are also 200 hours of community service, which must be completed within half a year.
