Backstreet Boys Christmas Special Canceled After Carter Allegations | Music

ABC broadcasts A very backstreet getaway, a special Christmas program by the Backstreet Boys, has never been released. The American channel decided to do it after Nick Carter was accused of sexually assaulting a seventeen-year-old girl in 2001. Carter was then twenty years old.

A very backstreet getaway would first air on December 14. Various American media reports that ABC has given up on this. Carter had filmed the Christmas special with the other Backstreet Boys, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough. They perform in it with a number of their hits.

In the statement by Shannon Ruth, the woman in question, three anonymous registrants tell their story. They say they were sexually assaulted by Carter between 2003 and 2006.

Michael Holtz, Carter’s attorney, opens up about all the allegations versus and calls it “completely false” to TMZ. “We have no doubt that the court will quickly realize that these allegations are false,” Holtz said.
