Backlash to mayor; Ombudsman rejects request to dismiss case – Letter in Dispute | Arya Rajendran

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ The local government ombudsman rejected the company’s request to dismiss the case in the letter dispute. In the event that the High Court dismissed the case, the Ombudsman rejected the Corporation Secretary’s request that the case be dismissed before the Ombudsman. The petition was filed by Youth Congress district chairman Sudhirshah Pal.

The Ombudsman noted that the petition filed by Sudheer Shah was different from the petition rejected by the High Court. The petitioner’s request to add CPM District Secretary Anavoor Nagappan as a defendant in the case will be investigated. The petition will be considered again on 22 February.
