The Nightwish singer posted a Photo with her husband Hannes van Dahl, their daughter Freja holding a photo of the ultrasound. “Life is beautiful,” she wrote.
“We will soon no longer be with the three of us, but with four,” Jansen wrote further. “Freja is going to be a big sister! We are very happy to share this news with you.”
Jansen and Van Dahl became parents for the first time in 2017. The family lives together in Sweden. Van Dahl is a drummer there with the metal band Sabaton.
The Nightwish singer was treated for breast cancer last year. She underwent surgery in October and is now cancer-free. “I’m getting my energy back,” she said in November.
Jansen participated in the TV program in 2019 Dear Singers and has since been working solo in addition to her Nightwish career. For example, she played at Pinkpop and in 2021 she also performed in AFAS Live.
