Babikov won the endurance race in Anterselva. The Czechs did not shine in the general before the Olympics

The innkeeper collected three penalty minutes during the first two stops at the shooting range, but other competitors, including favorites, were also wrong. The French leader of the SP standings, Quentin Fillon Maillet, was out of the twentieth with five shots.

“The wind is spinning, but I loaded it when shooting and I wonder myself. When I made three mistakes, I thought the race was in the sack, it would shoot well. But I’m surprised how wrong it is. , “Krčmář said in an interview for Czech Television.

According to the Czech representative, the conditions were not such that it was impossible to shoot better. “Oh yeah, my head. I wanted to keep an eye on the result and there were unnecessary mistakes,” he regretted, and not even the pure second half of the race pleased him. “I’m not allowed to race, only if I ruin it and it’s nothing anymore. I have to start racing from the beginning,” he added.

In the final standings, Krčmář lost 3: 08.7 minutes to the winning Babikov. The 30-year-old Russian, who started the season in the lower IBU Cup, was the only one in the entire field to shoot clean and beat the second Bö by 9.7 seconds with two penalty minutes. Another Russian, Said Karimulla Khalili, finished third.

None of the Czech competitors got to the points positions. Milan Žemlička took 51st place with two mistakes on the shooting range. Jakub Štvrtecký was right behind him, taking five penalty minutes. Adam Václavík took 58th place with seven inaccurate shots, Mikuláš Karlík even collected eight penalty minutes and finished in 84th place.
