Azores Airlines resumes international flights

In a statement sent to the agency Lusa, the company said that it “resumes” from today “its flights with Boston (United States of America), where a large number of Azorean emigrants reside, Toronto (Canada), Frankfurt (Germany) and, “later, in August, Cape Verde”.

Azores Airlines’ international resumption schedule includes five calls a week in July and October and seven calls in August and September to Boston, five flights a week to Toronto and twice a week to Frankfurt, the company told Lusa.

The air carrier SATA had already resumed in June Azores Airlines air connections with the Portuguese continent, which were also suspended due to Covid-19.

Air operations between the islands of the Azores, provided by SATA Air Açores, have also been resumed.
