Azarkan: researchers find no transgressive behavior in Kuzu

A research agency has not established any cross-border behavior with former Think group chairman Kuzu. That says the current group chairman Azarkan after investigation by the bureau Integis.

Within Denk, a power struggle is raging, which in part has to do with Kuzu’s position. He resigned as party chairman in March, as it turned out in connection with the aftermath of reports of a previous extramarital affair with a woman.

Kuzu accused party chairman (and fellow party member) Öztürk of attempting political brotherhood killing for allegedly bringing out stories about the affair. The discussion focused on Kuzu having committed transgressive behavior.

Office did not speak to the woman

After Kuzu stepped down, Azarkan became chairman of the group and he has had an investigation initiated. The results have now been published. According to Azarkan, the Integis agency has conducted environmental research, consulted public sources and conducted interviews. The woman did not report Kuzu. According to Azarkan, the woman was unwilling to cooperate with the investigation and “present facts to support the allegations she made in the media.”

Azarkan argues that there is now clarity and that the accusation of transgressive behavior cannot be substantiated. He believes that the party board under the leadership of chairman Öztürk should have already investigated in 2018. Kuzu himself says he feels strengthened by the results of the research. He emphasizes that he has consistently called the allegations of transgressive behavior false. “I will continue to represent our constituents with everything I have in mind,” he added.

Incidentally, there is also another investigation into the state of affairs. That was not instituted by the group, but by the party board headed by Öztürk. The board expelled Azarkan from the party this week, but he has no intention of quitting his job. Kuzu supports Azarkan.
