Ayu Thalia Surprised and Disappointed to be Named as a Suspect for Defamation of Ahok’s Child

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – soap operas and celebrities Ayu Thalia | admitted that he was surprised and disappointed after being named a suspect in the alleged defamation case reported by Basuki’s son Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, Nicholas Sean full moon.

This was revealed by Ayu’s attorney, Fredi Liem.

“Yes, definitely surprised, sad and disappointed,” said Fredi when contacted by reporters, Thursday (20/1/2022).

Fredi added that his client had failed to attend his first summons as a suspect.

The investigators should have scheduled Ayu to attend today, Thursday (20/1/2022), at the North Jakarta Metro Police.

Fredi Liem said that Ayu could not attend because she was sick.

“For Ayu Thalia, the plan is for an examination this morning, but at this time she is not feeling well,” said Fredi.

Ayu Thalia asked that her examination schedule be postponed until next week.

“So the examination is temporarily postponed,” said Fredi.

Previously, the determination of Ayu Thalia as a suspect was confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Dwi Prasetyo Wibowo.

“Yes (there are two pieces of evidence),” said Dwi when contacted by reporters, Wednesday (1/19/2022).

Ayu Thalia is now suspected of Article 310 and or 311 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on Defamation.

The feud between Ayu Thalia and Nicholas Sean stems from Ayu’s report against Sean for alleged abuse at a prestigious car showroom owned by businessman Rudy Salim.

At that time, Ayu worked as an SPG in the showroom. Ayu accuses Sean of pushing her to the ground.

During the investigation, the police did not find any criminal evidence in the case so it was terminated.

Nicholas Sean also reported back Ayu Thalia to the North Jakarta Metro Police on August 31, 2021 on suspicion of defamation.
