The company “AvtoVAZ” on its page in Facebook published a video about the updated Lada Niva SUV, which shows the car interior in detail. It is very similar to the interior of the Chevrolet Niva (previously the car was sold on the Russian market under an American brand). The only noticeable change is the Lada logo on the steering wheel.
Also, the SUV was equipped with a color display of the multimedia system, which was previously installed on the pre-styling Chevrolet Niva.
Much more changes have undergone car exterior… The car was equipped with a raised hood, a new radiator grill with a honeycomb pattern, vertical lights, side moldings, front optics in the style of Toyota RAV4

Officially, the technical characteristics of the new product “AvtoVAZ” has not yet disclosed. However, in the video review on the Official Lada Club YouTube channel it was saidthat there were no changes in the engine range of the car. The SUV will be offered with the same 1.7-liter 80 hp engine, working together with a five-speed manual transmission, permanent all-wheel drive with a dual-band transfer case and a locking center differential.
Previously, the Niva was sold under the Chevrolet brand. However, at the end of 2019, AvtoVAZ agreed with General Motors to buy out 50% of the shares of their joint venture GM-Avtovaz from the North American company, which came under the control of the Russian company. After that the model changed the logo of Lada.
The start of sales of new items is scheduled for next year. Prices and vehicle configurations will be announced later.
