In November, AvtoVAZ began modernization of the B0 line, which produces Lada and Renault models. The re-equipment of the factory assembly line in Togliatti will be completed in 2023.
The essence of the modernization comes down to changing the assembly process: it, as reported AvtoVAZ News, will be made the same as at the Renault Russia plant in Moscow. The bottom line is that the chassis, power unit, cooling and exhaust systems are assembled in a separate area, after which all this is sent for installation with a supporting body structure.
This approach allows the production of mono-drive models and versions with an all-wheel drive system, and the assembly time for one unit of production is also reduced.
For 2023 scheduled release the successor to the Lada 4×4 and the new crossover, for which the name was chosen by the whole country.
