AvtoVAZ continues to adhere to the strategy for the production of auto trash: Transferring the assembly of LADA 4×4 to old Chevrolet Niva capacities

Such measures will not change anything – the Russian SUV will continue to be criticized for the build quality and lack of prospects.

Last year, on the Internet, information was published according to which AvtoVAZ bought a 50 percent stake in the joint venture GM-AvtoVAZ. Such a deal means that all rights to the production of the famous Chevrolet Niva are transferred to the Togliatti company.

The purchase of a stake in the GM-AvtoVAZ joint venture entailed a number of changes that affected Shniva. First of all, the developers changed the brand name – now the popular SUV is called LADA Niva. Further, AvtoVAZ planned to upgrade the Chevrolet Niva and the network has already shown photographs of the proposed project, which the Russians remembered by the presence of an X-shaped design in the front.

But recently, information has been circulated on the network that assembly sites will be castled – LADA 4×4 production will be transferred to GM-AvtoVAZ capacities, called LADA WEST OF TOGLIATTI, and Chevrolet Niva will be assembled at the main production facility located in Togliatti. However, the transfer of the Niva assembly to another enterprise can hardly be called a successful solution, since everyone has long known that from a rearrangement of terms, the amount does not change.

Thus, AvtoVAZ will not achieve anything by transferring production sites – LADA 4×4 and LADA Niva will continue to be produced with the same flaws laid down at the plant, in a word, cars will ruthlessly rot and break, disappointing motorists along the way. In fact, the Togliatti people would be better off worried about improving the quality of the metal from which the bodies of SUVs are made and would eliminate problems with the creak of salons, as well as improve the dynamic characteristics that are associated with the replacement of motors. Of course, this will significantly increase the cost of cars, but it will lower the level of criticism regarding “VAZ” all-terrain vehicles, since the Russians will stop wasting money to bring such cars to mind.

Thus, AvtoVAZ continues to adhere to the strategy for the production of auto trash, as evidenced by the transfer of LADA 4×4 production to the facilities where the Chevrolet Niva was previously produced. Such measures are not the best solution and in the future motorists will experience the fruits of such antics of the Togliatti people.
