Avocados and kiwis – favorites of vegetarian spruce Bukša breakfast table / Article / LSM.lv

Latvian record holder Sindija Bukša became a vegetarian in the 100-meter race a year ago and avocado is given a special place in her morning menu. As a lover of houseplants, the creamy fruit is also grown at home, but the harvest has not yet come, so avocados are still bought in the store.

When sharing breakfast with Latvian Television, Bukša treats avocado buns and avocado / kiwi smoothie. She makes avocado buns from a crushed fruit pulp to which she has added Philadelphia and mozzarella cheese. The sprinter is convinced that it allows you to enjoy a hearty breakfast, but with a feeling of lightness, because after a few hours you can go for a run.

Kiwi, on the other hand, has been Cindy’s favorite fruit since childhood. She likes to add banana and Greek yogurt to the smoothie, because she feels the need to include natural fats in the diet for better metabolism. The smoothie manages to be fresh not only in color but also in taste.

Buksa does not have a pronounced ritual in the morning – the athlete follows the daily routine, but certainly does not consider himself a morning person. In addition, she should be aware that doping control can be visited as early as six in the morning.
