This is evident from figures from the federal energy regulator Creg. – Source: BELGIAN Yesterday at 15:42— Figures from the Creg show that the average commercial natural gas price in November rose to 2,830 euros, compared to 2,488 euros in October. For Flemish families this is an average price of 2,708 euros, for Walloon families the average price even goes towards 3,000 euros. The average price for electricity also rises: from 1,248.2 euros in October to 1,321.98 euros in November. For Flanders this is 1,319 euros. To be clear: not all families pay such a high annual bill. The regulator’s figures refer to households with variable contracts, while two-thirds of households have fixed contracts. And the figures that the Creg has collected are the average commercial prices for November, plotted on an annual basis. Those numbers change monthly. Earlier, consumer organization Test Aankoop had already warned about “terrifying” tariffs for electricity and natural gas in November.
