Taskmaster’s Return? Unlikely, But Not Impossible
Intrigue arose when Thunderbolts* star Olga Kurylenko’s trainer posted an Instagram update indicating she was also in Bahrain. This fueled speculation about the potential return of Taskmaster, despite the character’s apparent demise.
Though, an update suggests the photo of Kurylenko herself may have been digitally altered, diminishing the likelihood of her return. It would seem like an odd move to bring Antonia Dreykov back after giving her such an unceremonious send-off,

Adding to the speculation, loki star Sophia Di Martino may be joining Tom Hiddleston in Doomsday. While Di Martino’s social media activity was cryptic, reports indicate both she and her Loki stunt double were spotted near the London filming location.

Release Dates and Russo Brothers’ Return
Marvel fans will have to wait a bit longer. Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars faced delays. Doomsday is now slated for a December 18, 2026, release, with Secret Wars following on December 17, 2027.
The Russo brothers, known for their triumphant MCU ventures, are returning to direct both films. They previously helmed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
