Omsk Avangard striker of the Continental Hockey Club (KHL) has reached a peculiar result Ilya Kablukov, who in the 100th consecutive game failed to score at KHL level.
It has already been reported that today, Bob Hartley’s trained “Avangard” with 2: 4 was recognized Moscow CSKA superiority. Kablukov, 32, spent 3:20 minutes in the match, during which he used one force technique and earned a negative efficiency of -1.
Thus, the striker closed the 100th match in a row without scoring a goal. The last time he upset the opponent’s goalkeeper was on November 14, 2018, throwing the puck into Vladivostok’s Admiral goal.
Before this season, Kablukov signed a contract with Avangard. According to the information available to the Russian media “R-Sport”, the seasonal salary of a Russian hockey player is 30 million rubles or 327.5 thousand euros. Also, his contract recorded a bonus of six million rubles (66 thousand euros), but its terms are unknown.
During KHL’s career, Kablukov has also represented Moscow’s Spartak, Mythiccha’s Atlant and St. Petersburg’s SKA. In 580 matches in the main tournament he has 39 goals and 91 assists, but in 133 Gagarin Cup fights – another 15 (8 + 7) points.
Kablukov is the 2018 Olympic champion and two-time Olympic champion.
