The strongest spread of the virus within the young population is confirmed in the region, according to the latest report from the ARS.
During the week of August 3 to 6, d, 27% of people positive for Covid-19 are between 20 and 30 years old. An observation which is the same at the national level.
All other indicators are on the rise in the region:
-the number of positive cases: 816 last week, against 687 the previous week.
-the incidence rate (number of positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants): 10.2 last week, compared to 8.6 the previous week. At departmental level, the highest incidence rates are found in Ain, Rhône, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
-le name of clusters: 15 additional clusters last week, compared to 11 the previous week. In total, 24 clusters are being monitored in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes according to the ARS, 11 of which are considered to be under control.
