Car production increased by 65% in Ukraine

The production of passenger cars increased the most, while the production of commercial vehicles declined.
Last year, 8,153 units of vehicles were assembled in Ukraine, which is 65% more than in 2020, informs Association of automakers Ukravtoprom.
Among them: 7 342 cars were assembled. (+ 75%), commercial – 43 pcs. (-16%), buses (+ 10%).
It is also reported that in December 2021, 620 vehicles were manufactured in the country.
“This result is almost 17% better than November, and compared to December 2020, production increased by 19%.
At the same time, it is emphasized that the positive dynamics was formed only by the production of passenger cars. If, in relation to the previous month, the assembly of passenger cars increased by 21%, then compared to December 2020, by 23% and amounted to 550 units, “the message says.
At the same time, the production of commercial vehicles (excluding AvtoKrAZ, which stopped disclosing information about its production since August 2016) remained at the level of December 2020 (6 units), which is 40% less than in November 2021.
According to the association, bus manufacturers produced 64 cars in a month, which is 3% less than in November, and almost 9% less than the December 2020 result.
QC reported at the end of 2020 in Ukraine, car production fell by almost a third… A total of 4,952 vehicles were produced in the country.
Recall that in October car production in Ukraine collapsed by almost 70%… During the month, 292 vehicles were produced.
